Because... why not? Why does a dog or cat’s life matter more than a pig’s, cow’s, fish's life? If we look deep into their eyes we would know that they are here to live, to feel, to experience life freely in all its forms, the way we fight to live ours. If we look deeply into our hearts, we would know that they deserve it as much as we do and they are not here to serve us, be our food or our entertainment...
